I went to a Salon to get my hair done, and the rinse made my naturally blonde hair turn Domme Red!?

Can anyone reccomend a Good Salon where I can get this sorted? I want my Natural colour back, I have NO idea what the woman was thinking, I ran out crying. Please, where in Dublin would you say that I should go to? I am very upset with my hair as it is, although I have had many compliments on it, it is simply NOT ME! I want to sort this as soon as I can. Help!

Go back to the salon and get a more experienced hairdresser to fix it for you, this will save you having to pay again, if they mess it up, they must fix it for you. Try not to panic, this happens all the time and is fixable. If they can't fix it, then sue them for damages.

I would call up there and complain to the manager or owner. I would demand my money back and for someone else to fix my hair asap! That is unacceptable, how in the world did she get a liscence to do hair?

Shampoo, shampoo, and shampoo some more.

Who did you upset? I'm still smarting over my white T-shirts that are now pink.

I don't live in Dublin, but I know this:

If I pay for a service and get delivered crap I go and get my money back. So you need to go back to that salon and tell the manager what happened and get your money's worth. Since your hair turned red when it was rinsed, I suspect that it is a wash out colour, so try washing your hair---AFTER you got your money back. I am pretty sure that they will give you your money back. Why pay for another salon? If the beautician was a good one otherwise, then maybe you would like to remember that we all are human beings, and all of us will make mistakes one time or another...

what do you mean rinse? did you get a color? if so, and you're hair turned out red and you want to get rid of the red you need a green base ash . You can do it yourself. go to the nearest beauty supply and pick out your color, just make sure it has a green base and you can't go lighter than what you have without bleaching or decolorizing you hair, so make sure it's the same level color that your hair is now. that's a dumb-*** who did your hair. I'd get my money back if i were you.

The stylist was an idiot. The color might fade out over time. Before going to a salon again ( They might make it worse) Try using dish detergent and then use a good conditioner afterwards. I've had to do this before and it worked, the detergent will make it fade out faster. I got this info from a stylist a long time ago. When i used it ,my hair was way to dark and mud brown,it faded out ALLOT from using the detergent. If you don't want to use full strength detergent on your hair, mix it with your shampoo, do half and half. REMEMBER THE CONDITIONER AFTER. Please try this first, if you go to a salon, they may want to use a color stripper on your hair. Those are very damaging and you won't have your natural color back, Don't do it. Good Luck, hope this works. What the one person said about using a green base color is true. If the color won't fade all the way out, you could use a medium or dark blonde that has green in the base to get rid of the red. I would go back to the salon and complain and get your money back, i don't know if you trust them to fix your hair though.

I agree with those who have advised going back to the salon and insisting that your hair is dealt with professionally and returned to a colour resembling your own (or your choice). If they try to put you off, a telephone call to your local newspaper can work wonders.

Complain, you shouldn't put up with bad service, they might even fix it for you for free.

I've heard vinegar is good for getting out stubborn colour as is leaving conditioner on your haur for a few hours, x

ok everyine says go back and complain but first i would like to ask did you agree to the red if you did then there is nothing wrong with the result you just dont like it and that is not the salons fault just one of those things and they are not at right to have to correct it but for client care have a chat with them about changing it back, the other way to find a good salon in your area is word of mouth so have a look around and if you see someone with a good cut or colour etc stop and ask them they wont mind and will be flattered this is the best way to find a good hairdresser, good luck
