ever i wash it how can i prevent the bright red from running and turning the blonde pink/staining the blonde

That will be some what hard. Try to wash your hair in cold water. This will keep the hair sahft sealed and should prevent too much color transfer. I would suggest using a very mild moisturizing shampoo.

do you dye it yourself that would be why. salon colors don't run into each other if done right! you need to seperat the two colors with foil and rinse the red out first until the water is clear then rinse the blonde.

you should really leave it to a pro but when your washing out the color rinse one packet(or color) out a time till the water runs clear. when you wash your hair use cool water. to extend the hair color don't shampoo every day! use a good color extending shampoo and conditioner. use ones that have protection form visible, uva and uvb lite!!! to get more recommendations visit www.redken.com!!
